May 20, 2020: Update

This Week’s Schedule and Plans for the Future

Published May 20, 2020

A quick update on parish activities this week.

Fr. Larry is on retreat through Saturday evening.  No Masses will be posted this week, we will not open the church on Saturday for prayer and confessions will not be available in the parish this week. The chapel will remain open with the same "COVID" rules.

The church will be open this Sunday.  We will send more information about the plans for Ascension Sunday later in the week.

Fr. Larry is also working to complete the Old Testament Study.  He posted 5 videos to YouTube this week!

We are reviewing the guidance from the Archdiocese and are working on the plan for resumption of public Mass at Ascension when we are permitted to do so.  We will begin publishing plans soon.  In the interim, we encourage you to review the Archdiocesan document of "what to expect" (see below).   Please remember the dispensation from the obligation to attend Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation issued by Archbishop Gregory remains in place until further notice.

As we wait in anticipation for the day we are able to join together for celebration of the Mass and to enjoy parish events as a faith filled community, may we continue to pray for all those affected by COVID-19, all who have died and those who grieve, all suffering physically, emotionally and/or spiritually and for our priests, religious, seminarians and all those God is calling to service in the Church.
